Supplier Code of Conduct
Purpose
This Supplier Code of Conduct defines the ethical, social, environmental, and legal standards that Spectrum Feed Services Ltd., expects from its suppliers, including their employees, agents, subcontractors, and sub-suppliers, in alignment with the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Feed Certification standards. Suppliers must comply with this Code, Adherence to this Code is a compulsory condition for all suppliers and forms the basis for maintaining an ongoing business relationship with Spectrum Feed Services Ltd.
Scope
This Code applies to all suppliers, subcontractors, and their respective supply chains involved in sourcing, producing, or delivering raw materials, ingredients, or services for our feed production.
Compliance with Applicable Laws and ASC Feed Certification
- Legal and Labour Compliance
Suppliers must uphold human rights and fair labor practices, as required by ASC Feed Certification and international standards (e.g., UN Global Compact, International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions. This includes: Prohibition of Forced and Child Labour, Fair Wages and Working Conditions, Non-Discrimination, Freedom of Association and also conduct business with integrity and transparency, adhering to ethical standards.
- Comply with all applicable national and international labour (Criterion 1.3)
- No forced, bonded, or compulsory (Criterion 1.4)
- No child labour and protection of young (Criterion 1.5)
- Non-discrimination based on race, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, or political (Criterion 1.6)
- Provide a safe and healthy working (Criterion 1.7)
- Respect freedom of association and collective bargaining (Criterion 1.8)
- Transparent contracts with all (Criterion 1.9)
- Ensure payment of legal (Criterion 1.10)
- Regulate working hours in accordance with local (Criterion 1.11)
- No inhumane disciplinary practices or (Criterion 1.12)
- Implement accessible grievance mechanisms for (Criterion 1.13)
- Comply with California Transparency in Supply chains Act of 2010 (SB 657),
- Provide decent accommodation where (Criterion 1.14)
- Engage with local communities in an ethical and responsible (Criterion 1.15)
- Respect and safeguard the rights of Indigenous (Criterion 1.16)
b) Environmental Responsibility
Suppliers must operate in an environmentally responsible manner, aligning with the focus on sustainable sourcing and minimizing environmental impact, this includes FSSC 22000 and ASC Feed Certification.

- Implement sustainable water use (Criterion 1.18)
- Develop and maintain effective waste management (Criterion 1.19)
- Treat and manage effluents (Criterion 1.20)
- Monitor and reduce energy consumption and (Criterion 1.21)
c) Product-Specific Requirements
- Maintain integrity of product characteristics and comply with traceability and documentation (Indicators 3.4.2 C 3.4.3)
Implementation Responsibilities
a) Declaration of Compliance (Clause 2.1.6)
Suppliers must declare in writing whether they meet all requirements of this Supplier Code of Conduct upon onboarding and update the declaration annually or upon request. (Please sign the supplier declaration attached at the end of this document)
b) Notification of Material Changes (Clause 2.1.7)
Suppliers are required to notify Spectrum Feed Services Ltd in writing within 10 business days of any material changes that affect compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct.
c) Cascading Requirements (Clause 2.1.8)
Suppliers must extend equivalent requirements of this Code to their own suppliers and ensure compliance through risk assessment and supplier management.
Monitoring and Enforcement
a) Audits and Verification
Spectrum Feed Services Ltd reserves the right to request documentation for verification and conduct on-site audits, or desktop reviews.
b) Non-Compliance and Termination (Clause 2.1.5)
Spectrum Feed Services Ltd will discontinue business with suppliers who fail to meet these requirements or refuse to take corrective actions within the agreed timeline.
